Ran Zilca, Co-Founder and CEO
Ran Zilca leads the company's strategic direction and vision, and developed the initial set of patent-pending algorithms.
His experience covers a wide range of R&D management in government and industry, including algorithm development, software and hardware design and development, and system level integration. Prior to starting Signal Patterns, Ran led various interdisciplinary R&D projects at IBM Research, Amdocs R&D and the IDF. He holds a BSEE from Ben Gurion University and MSEE from Tel Aviv University. Ran has authored over 40 patents, scientific papers, and IETF/W3C documents and is an invited reviewer for 10 different scientific publications. Ran is an IEEE Senior Member (elected).
Ran is passionate about science as a means of making people's lives better, but being a product of the 80s, he also still plays his guitar and secretly dreams of becoming Eddie Van Halen.
Avi Naor, Co-Founder
Avi provides strategic business and financial guidance for the company.
Avi Naor was a member of the team that founded Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), a global leader in billing systems, CRM, self service, order management, mediation, and content revenue management. He was appointed President and CEO of Amdocs in 1995, led the Amdocs IPO on the NYSE in 1998, and subsequently headed major acquisitions and secondary offerings, driving sales to $1.6 billion and its global workforce to 10,000 employees.
David Markowitz, VP, Marketing & Products
David leads all marketing, product management and business development efforts for Signal Patterns.
David has over fifteen years of marketing and product management experience at a number of successful high growth companies in the software, online advertising/media and behavioral targeting sectors. He's held management positions at Tacoda, Right Media, Data Synapse and Caminus. David holds a BSE from the University of Pennsylvania and a MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
