Early Feedback on the Live Happy App

"I found [Live Happy] fun, easy to use, and nicely interactive."
- Alex, 34

"Overall I'm enjoying the app and think it will be very successful. I can definitely see how you need to be using this app everyday. I'm glad to be using it because some of the activities have encouraged me to contact those I haven't been in contact. I was able to email my parents a nice email out of the blue and thank them. The responses I got back were great. I'm really seeing how this can make me happier over time."
- Josh, 32

"I am finding that it is creating more of an awareness around my own happiness."
- Angela, 32

"I actually like that I can put [my personal goals] all in writing in one place and look at them at a quick glance…I had always had these goals in my head, but I think just writing it down is making it a little more real for me, and now I'm even feeling a little more organized and focused."

"I love how it really makes you think of the best possible future you can dream of to be your 'Best Possible Self.' And I realized that some of these "dreams" aren't even dreams - if I work hard(er) I *can* actually meet these goals and live a very happy life."
- Vera, 39

"It’s easy to set a goal. Evaluating asks questions I have not previously asked in the past, and helped me to clarify my motives... I found it refreshing to break it down into baby steps. This process is valuable in helping me visualize the steps and not get overwhelmed."

"'Optimism' is the first of the tools that I used when I started and I love how it’s broken down into family, social, career, etc. sections! Filling out the family section (having dinner with my girls each night, snowboarding with them in the winter) helped me visualize what I want our life to look like. Articulating these things for my family was meaningful. It’s like a reality check. Where am I now, what am I striving for... and giving me a clear picture in my mind to look towards when things aren't going so well."

"The Happiness and Mood survey rocks. How often do you have the opportunity to check in with how you are feeling?...What I like about [Live Happy] is that it walks me through what I can do to raise my level of happiness in ways that are not necessarily intuitive to me at the moment... Personality Traits was cool."
- Aime, 35
